Hey everyone,
Well this is going to be my first blog and I think I should set the scene. Im back at my parents house from UNI for a week to study and sitting in my frontroom at 10 past 12 at night. I have been thinking alot recently about my life, living by myself, all the changes goin on, starting uni, meeting new people, the split from my old school/friends/boyfriend/area....
It has been a huge culture change.....Iv grown up in an area where most people are from ethnic minorities, I would concider myself to be from an ethnic minoroity , being third generation Irish. My school that I went to was extremely diverse and I loved it...all of my friends have been from all corners of the planet and it has given me a rich view of their cultures and the world.
My uni is UCL and is a presitgeous school. It took alot of hard work for me to ge there and Im so happy I attend, its the 4th best UNI in the world ! That means alot from where I have come from. I love it though and everyone I have met is amazing
But I do find myself sliding back to the past and looking at my "old" life...I miss the simple summer days of 2005 when I first met my first love Hash, youll come to hear alot about him no doubt. I miss the times before working, before having to study all the time and when life was simple and fun.....
But Iv learnt to be positive and embrace it ! I love my life now, and the past made me who I am today. I love those who loved me and also hurt me, peoples words of admiration & critizism have helped shaped me into this happy, fun loving girl I am now ... So thank you !
